TRUE BLUE SCHOLARSHIPS
The President’s True Blue Endowed Scholarship has helped Idaho residents attend college through
the True Blue Promise Scholarship since 2016. These current-use funds are awarded to residents for
four years, based primarily on financial need and merit. True Blue Endowed Scholarships impact Idaho
students, increase Idaho’s “go-on” rates and grow the number of graduates contributing to Idaho’s
economy.
There are 23 True Blue Scholarships.
11 were established in 2024 alone.

“I fully expected to take a gap year because I didn’t have the finances. And as
I started to apply for scholarships and receive funding, it enabled me to stay.
And staying also meant that I was able to get involved around campus, and
find myself and what I wanted to do. It also made a huge impact on me for
my time commitments. I was able to work less and really focus on getting
internships instead of just working an entry-level job to pay my way.”
